How To File A Complaint with the FTC and DOJ

The FTC enforces laws which prevent anti-trust and anti-competitive behavior. Use the guidelines below to file a complaint against a Board or MLS that you feel is violating US Law.



You can file a complaint for anti-competitiveness at the Federal Trade Commission Website.


Here is some information on how to do that:


If you have a question or comment about an antitrust issue, submit it to the Bureau of Competition to the email below.


To fully describe your concern, please provide answers to the following questions:

  • What company, entity or organization is engaging in conduct you believe violates the antitrust laws?
  • How do you believe this entity may have harmed competition?
  • What is your role in the situation? For instance, are you a customer, competitor or supplier?
